Laura McNaughton is a Managing Director in the Chicago office and a member of the industrials M&A Advisory practice at Kroll. She has over 20 years of middle-market merger and acquisition experience. Laura specializes in providing sell-side services to family and founder owned businesses and private equity owned companies. She has assisted in the sale of more than 70 middle-market companies.

Laura specializes in executing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private placements and other corporate finance mandates as a member of the firm’s Diversified Industrials M&A practice. She has experience across a range of industries, including niche manufacturing, specialty distribution and industrial services.

Prior to joining Kroll in 2000, Laura held positions at Vine Street Partners and Arthur Andersen.

Laura received her MBA in finance from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Business and her BS in finance from the University of Illinois. She is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered representative, holding the FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. She is actively involved in the Chicago Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and WAVE, the Women’s Association of Venture Capital and Private Equity.
