Paul serves as an expert witness and consulting expert in Federal and State courts as well as arbitration, in matters involving information technology, intellectual property, digital forensics, electronic discovery and other complex disputes which arise from the flow of information and the use of digital data, computers, software, networks and the Internet. Paul has over 20 years’ experience in investigations and electronic data. As a fraud and digital forensic investigator and eDiscovery expert, Paul provides project management on a full suite of end-to-end digital forensic services including data analytics, ESI consulting, and expert testimony for internal investigations, trade secret theft, software, and cyber-crime cases worldwide.
Prior to Kroll, Paul spent six years as a Staff Attorney for Cleary Gottlieb based in New York, leading teams in data analysis, discovery, regulatory investigations. During this time, he also served in the firm’s Hong Kong office, where he launched a successful litigation support practice for Cleary focused on LIBOR-related investigations and federal antitrust litigation in Asia. Paul frequently writes and presents on the topics of artificial intelligence, trade secrets, standards of care, data analytics and the nuances of digital information.
